Joshua is an experienced specialist organ teacher, having taught both privately and at the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester. Pupils have gone on to win conservatoire places and Oxbridge organ scholarships and several now practice as professional musicians.

Joshua is particularly interested in issues of historical performance practice and its application for modern performers, and he encourages pupils to take a creative and proactive interest in these elements of study.

As well as solo organ repertoire, Joshua is happy to teach accompaniment and service-playing skills.
